Compensation Module

Prepare and approve each incident file before it leaves the compensation department.

The Claims Department (motor and non-motor) begins working on an incident file long before referring it to Legal Affairs: identifying transactions with a judicial status, creating the initial incident file, completing its data, then reviewing it and obtaining approval from the designated reviewer. When this stage is managed manually outside a unified system, files eligible for referral may not be ready on time, and Legal Affairs may receive files with incomplete data or attachments.

The Compensation Module gives the Claims team a dedicated workspace to manage the register of incidents with a judicial status, create and complete incident files using the approved template, review them, and formally approve referral to Legal Affairs. The file remains linked to Claims for follow-up of financial notifications and amounts resulting later from settlement or litigation decisions.

What Does the Module Display / Manage?

  • Register of incidents with a judicial status in the Claims system.
  • Screen for creating an incident file for Legal Affairs using the approved template.
  • Reviewer status and approval of referral to Legal Affairs.
  • File classification by type (motor/non-motor).
  • Receipts for settlement amounts and cheques, and their balances.
  • Financial notifications (debit/credit) issued by Claims.

Questions This Module Answers

  • Which incidents are eligible for referral to Legal Affairs?
  • Has the file been reviewed and its referral approved?
  • What is the status of settlement amounts or cheques received?
  • Which files are still awaiting reviewer approval?

How Does It Help Firm Management and the Team?

Creates the incident file and completes its data without relying on channels outside the system.

Approves the file or returns it before formal referral to Legal Affairs.

Receives a complete file ready for immediate legal processing.

Tracks receipts and financial notifications issued by Claims.

Value & Operational Return

  • Reduce incomplete files referred to Legal Affairs.
  • Clarify the review-approval point before referral.
  • Provide a direct link between the incident file and subsequent financial notifications.
  • Accelerate the start of legal processing for the file.

The Compensation Module is the starting point that prepares every incident file before it formally enters the Legal Affairs workflow—with approval and complete data rather than an ad hoc referral.
